What should I do if I need to cancel/rearrange my wedding?
If something has happened that you think means you need to claim under the policy for cancellation or rearrangement, we strongly recommend that you contact us on 0333 003 3182 as soon as possible, and before you make any decisions or arrangements with your wedding services suppliers. This is because cancelling the wedding and/or the wedding reception exposes you to liability for costs and we want to help as much as we can to mitigate those costs and to help you understand what is and is not covered under the terms of this policy.
Can I make a change to my policy?
Yes, of course. If you would like to make any changes to your policy such as changing the dates of the wedding ceremony or reception, or increasing or decreasing the level of cover, then please contact us via email at email@example.com and one of our customer service agents will be happy to help.
What’s the best way to ensure I have the best protection for losses arising from failure of a supplier or damage to wedding related goods?
A wedding insurance policy should provide you with good protection but there are same basic steps you can take:
- Ensure you have a clear and written contract with all your suppliers.
- Keep receipts and copies of any communication with your suppliers.
- Consider paying by credit card whenever possible as this can also give you additional protection under the Consumer Credit Act.
